About Finding Dori

From her earliest memories, Jaci's heart was captivated by her childhood pup, a Chocolate Lab, which inspired her lifelong love for dogs. Raised in Lincoln, her deep affection for these four-legged companions has shaped her entire life. 

While her academic pursuits initially took her on a different path, Jaci's adoration for animals remained unwavering. Graduating from UNL with a bachelor's degree in applied science and a minor in psychology, she embarked on a journey that would eventually lead her back to her true passion. 

A chapter of her life led her to Wisconsin for a few years, where she had an opportunity to volunteer as a puppy raiser/trainer for WAGS (Wisconsin Academy of Graduate Service Dogs), it was during this time she first learned basic obedience along with a few more advanced skills; such as having the pup open the refrigerator door and retrieve dropped items. This experience sparked her interest in dog training. 

Throughout her career, Jaci has worked in various veterinary clinics, and has always enjoyed working with animals. Now back in Nebraska, she finds joy in the company of her two golden retrievers, a mini goldendoodle, three cats, four ducks, and three geese. Her childhood love for dogs has blossomed into a fulfilling career.
